I LOVE CUBA
I’ve heard stories about Cuba being a place where people feel connected with the land or at peace in a different way than other islands. I was excited to go as I too wanted to see what the hype was about.
After leaving, my thoughts are, I need to book another trip to really get the experience lol. To be fair , this was a family trip for my nieces birthday and we decided to stay at a family friendly resort. Although I had minor interactions with the people of the land, it didn’t feel as authentic as I was anticipating and I guess that’s due the the controlled environments we were in.
However, I loved the weather, beach and overall energy that I received from Cuba. I’m hoping to make another trip and this time be amongst the people and explore more parts of the land.
