This BTS shoot was a very personal one for me. During this time I had worked with Sony Music in the past on a project that didn’t pan out. one of the A&R’s considered my photography “amateur” and made it a point to not have me hired for future projects with their canadian roster. i love working with musicians so this really upset me to learn.

Now I understand that my work wont translate to everyone however it speaks volumes to the ones who get it. fast forward a few months down the line this bts project was presented to me from one of the creatives on board. they knew that i was being “blackballed” but they personally loved my work and knew the artist would to. so they brought me on outside of sony music and asked me to do what i love to do — capture moments.
